Veg Manchurian with Gravy
Veg Manchurian with gravy is very delicious and spicy Indo- Chinese recipe. Fried vegetable balls dipped in spicy gravy go well with plain rice. There are many Manchurian variations prepared like cabbage Manchurian ,mushroom Manchurian and cottage cheese Manchurian.
Along with the gravy manchurian I also make dry munchurian. It generally served as starter.
Veg Manchurian with Gravy (step by step with photos)

Ingredients
For Manchurian balls
1/2 cup grated Carrot
1 cup grated Cabbage
1/2 Cup chopped Capsicum
1 tablespoon Ginger and chilly paste
1 teaspoon Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
2 tablespoon All purpose flour
2 tablespoon Corn flour
Oil for deep frying
Salt to taste
For Gravy
3 tablespoon Ginger ,garlic and chilly coarsely shredded
1 tablespoon Finely chopped Capsicum
1 teaspoon Chilly sauce
1 tablespoon Vinegar
1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
2 tablespoon Tomato kech-up
2 tablespoon Corn flour
2 tablespoon Spring Onion finely chopped
2 cup Water
1 tablespoon Oil
Salt to taste
1) Take all vegetables in one bowl and mix well.
2) Add ginger and chilly paste, soy sauce, black pepper and salt in that and mix well.
3) Now add all purpose flour in that.
4) Make balls from it and coat each ball with corn flour. Meanwhile heat oil for deep frying.
5) Deep fry Balls till it become golden brown. Take out from pan and keep aside.
6) Heat oil in one pan add ginger ,garlic and chilly paste in that and saute for few seconds.
7) Now add spring onion in that and saute for few seconds.
8) Add capsicum in that and cook for 1 minute.
9) Now add 2 cup water in that when it starts boiling add cornflour paste in that and simmer for few minutes.
10) Then add all seasoning in that and mix well and switch off the stove.
11) Add Manchurian in gravy and garnish it with spring onion.
Tips
1) Fry Manchurian immediately after making balls otherwise it will become soggy and will break when you fry them.
2) You can use lemon juice instead of vinegar.
